The students of D.A.V. College of Education, Abohar, displayed an outstanding performance at the 76th Panjab University Annual Athletic Meet, securing a total of 7 medals. Organized under the guidance of the college’s sports department and Dr. Charan Singh, the athletes competed fiercely across various events, achieving remarkable success.

The highlight of the meet was the stellar performance of students who excelled in categories like the 800-meter and 400-meter races, bringing home gold medals. Navjot Singh also stood out with an exceptional performance in the 800-meter relay, winning yet another gold for the institution. Additionally, many students earned silver and bronze medals in long-distance events and shot put competitions, raising the college’s prestige.

Principal Dr. Vijay Goyal and the sports committee congratulated the students and appreciated their dedication and efforts. Abohar, 26 March 2025 – A panel discussion was organized at D.A.V College of Education, Abohar, under the guidance of Principal Dr. Vijay Grover. The topic of the discussion was “Comparative Study of Various School Boards,” coordinated by the School Internship Department.

Various educationists and experts participated and shared their views on key aspects such as curriculum, co-curricular activities, internal and external evaluations, teacher training programs, and quality initiatives. The discussion focused on comparing boards like CBSE, ICSE, PSEB, and others, and how these differences influence students’ overall development, education standards, and assessment systems.
